I can't validate aws keys

    Hi,

    As you have found the IAM user’s credentials can not be used for the Advertising API, putting your root ones in the plugin _should_ work fine.

    Double check there are no extra characters or spaces in the ID’s. Try using the settings page rather than the Setup page (that’s something I recently added so it might have issues?).

    any help?

    My affiliate is from Spain Amazon, Could this be the problem?

    Sorry, missed your reply.

    It could be something to do with Amazon.es, try changing the default locale to UK or US then see if the IDs validate.

    If they do validate, you should then be able to change the default locale back to Spain.

    Yes, the problem is the default locale. If I choose US, it validates the keys, but then, I change the default locale back to Spain, I get the message error again “AWS Request Failed, please check keys – Error Message: We did not find any matches for your request.”

    I also have the same problem and after following your instruction the problem remain the same.
    This is what i keep getting even after using root credential.

    AWS Request Failed, please check keys – Error Message: Your AccessKey Id is not registered for Product Advertising API. Please use the AccessKey Id obtained after registering at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/flex/advertising/api/sign-in.html

    Hi,

    Try putting your keys in to the Amazon Advertising Scratchpad, to see if you get the same problem.

    If they don’t work on the scratchpad have a look at this Forum Thread for ideas on how to fix Forum Thread

    If they work on the scratchpad then make sure you have the development version of the plugin and your AWS keys are entered correctly.
