I Can't Upload Images To My Blog Any more

Start with the usual troubleshooting steps.

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

If none of that helps, come back and tell us what error you’re getting ??

The error can be as weird as ‘A totally white page!’ or ‘It says it uploads, but the images aren’t there.’

Sorry for the late reply, I tried all of the above and nothing has worked. I don’t know what else to do.

Thats very kind of you. Every time I upload a new image, it doesn’t show the image. Just a question mark even when its cropped.

Check your uploads path in Settings->Media. It should be blank in most installs.

I’m having trouble uploading images I’ve downloaded via email from one company. I’ve been able to download and upload them easily before. It’s only with this companies images that I’m having trouble. Any idea why this is happening? I just get an astericks where the image should be in my “add media” page of my blog.

I cant upload files to my site..the uploader gets stuck mid pic and an error message occurs…the pics are only 1-2 MB..far from the recommended 12MB…what do I do?

Also my hosting company said there was an attack on wordpress and certain platforms and my wordpress site is intermittently not being seen? whats the news on this?

I was told by my Domain hosting that there was an attack on wordpress sites on certain platforms…my websites we some of them and now they are being Intermittently seen…is this true and whats being done to fix it?
