I can’t update anything after to update WP to 5.5

  • Hello, yesterday I entered the wordpress backend of my page and saw that the update of the wordpress version to 5.5 was available, so I updated it, but now the site does not allow me to modify anything, I cannot edit the products of the store, The “edit” button of the url of each product does not even work, in addition, it does not allow me to update any plugin manually (it stays loading). Do you think it could be because of the new version of WordPress? Well, the site had been working well. I have installed the WordPress theme: “Mindig: a Flat & Multipurpose Ecommerce Theme” from Yith Themes.

  • I suggest to contact the plugin developers, and check if there’s an updated version of their plugins. If not, report them the issues.

    Did you make a full backup (database and files) before performing the upgrade?

    I had a similar issue. It turned out to be one of my plugins. It was WP ALL Import that was causing several problems on the site. Once I deactivated it, all was working normally.
