• Hello,

I have activated diverse custom post types created with CPT UI and Jet Engine through Languages/Settings/Custom post types and Taxonomies, but when I try to search in the interface of Polylang in each post it doesn’t show me the different posts related in the other languages, so I can’t relate each other. I have created diverse posts separately, according to the idiom. Now I want to connect all translations (so the switcher can switch the language). But I can’t as the interface doesn’t show me the translated titles of the translated posts.

    Any solution or any tip?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

I don’t know if I explained it clear for you.

A website of Films in 3 languages. I have activated the translation of custom posts in Language/Settings/Custom. I have created 3 custom posts types: Films in ES, Films in EN, Films in CA. I have created posts/films for each language and I select in each post its language, as I did when I created pages. Now, when I go to one post and go the switcher in the menu nav and select to view it in another language, it redirects me to the homepage. The switcher works with pages but not with the custom posts types. Could you help me to solve this, please? I want that the users could go from one language to another with the switcher in the menu nav.

    Thanks in advance.

Best practice to get posts/pages as well as CPT translated ist to read and follow this description https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/setting-up-a-wordpress-multilingual-site-with-polylang/translating-posts-or-pages/

    Hello,

    Thanks for answering.

I normally use the option ‘Choose, thanks to the autocomplete input field, an already existing post as translation’ but in custom posts it doesn’t work, it doesn’t display anything even when the posts are already created and its languages well selected.

    Do you know why?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,

Maybe there is any place in the code where I can attach or connect the posts translated manually if the autocomplete input doesn’t work?

    Thanks in advance.
