    Hi
I Copied all the files from wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/templates/Simple to my (child) theme in wp-content/themes/shopkeeper-child/woocommerce/pdf/’My Custom Template’ but I can’t select my template in ‘Choose a template’ option (I can’t see it). Please help.

    WordPress: 5.0.2
    WooCommerce: 3.5.3
WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips: 2.2.5

    Regards, Kris

    Hello Kris,
I think there could be two reasons for this:

    • If you actually used the apostrophes as in your post: ’My Custom Template’ in the folder name, it’s possible that this prevents the folder from being picked up properly. In that case you could try without apostrophes My Custom Template (or maybe an easier name to test Test)
    • It’s possible that your server does not allow reading folder contents, you could check this on the Status tab of the PDF invoice settings page, in the System Configuration section, look for “glob()”.

Let us know what you find!

    Hi
    Thanks for reply.
Apostrophes are not in folder name (I used them only in the issue description).
I changed the name to testbut it didn’t help.
For glob() I have the status “YES” (green). All permissions I have writable.
Maybe I will try to delete it and reinstall it. Do you have any other idea?

One more tink. I tryed to change original Simple template in plugin but I cant see any changes. Wery weird. I don’t use another plugin for pdf invoices, although the project was taken over by another developer. However, I use a different theme.

I’m not sure I fully understand your last message: are you saying you changed something in the actual plugin folder (wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/templates/Simple/invoice.php) and this change did not show up in the PDF? That would indeed indicate some things are not entirely aligned, or that this is not even the plugin that is used. Could you show a screenshot of the PDF Invoices settings you are referring to, and the button you use to open the PDF?

It was my fault because I was editing files on the old server while the site was moved to the new server. That’s why I did not see any changes that I made in the files. Problem solved.

I see, that explains a lot, glad to hear you found the issue ??

    Happy 2019!
