I can’t “start sending” order notifications

    I am unable to start sending order notifications for woocommerce because the “Start” button is rendered inactive

    Keeps telling me “Mailchimp for WooCommerce 1.0.9 or later is required to support Order Notifications. If you haven’t updated since Feb 3, 2017, please update to the most recent version.
    Before you start this Automation, verify that your store is up to date.

    Yet my store is up to date. I have disconnected my store, deleted the plugin from wp dashboard, and started all over again, yet the issue persists. on the contrary, i was able to “Start Sending” Welcome Emails.

    Please help me. I need to start sending my order notifications email.
