I can’t show the user profile photo and username in the menu

I’m trying to change the navigation label of the user profile in my header menu to display the current user’avatar and username by doing as explained here

but when i click to the preview i don’t see the user’s avatar and username, i see “{user_avatar_small}{username}” in the menu.

How can i fix it?

(if helpful i’m using firefox as browser, i have windows 11, i tried to delete the cache but it doesn’t change anything)
