I can’t see widgets in the home

  • Hi all, I built my homepage with Virtue: the slider with Kadence slider pro and in home layout I used (Virtue) HOME WIDGET AREA and PORTFOLIO CAROUSEL. In WIDGET I have a text and a video.
    When I view my site on the browser, it shows all the elements except the parts inserted with HOME WIDGET AREA. If I refresh the page, it sees them. If I close the browser window and open another one, again I have to refresh the page for the full home to show. For Widget management, I have Classic Widgets. I have other sites created like that and they don’t give me any problems. In this one I can’t figure out… can anyone help me?

    Hi!

    Sorry for the delay. Are you using a caching plugin? Be sure that your cache is being cleared. I think that will resolve this, but let me know if it continues!

    Hi Hannah,
    thank you for your response! No, I don’t use a caching plugin and have tried viewing the site in different browsers, using the incognito browsing mode, different computers, but nothing.
    I solved it by going to HOME LAYOUT, HOMEPAGE LAYOUT MANAGER, removing “Home Widget Area” and inserting the content with “Page Content”… so it works.
    I’m just sorry I didn’t understand why with “Widget Area” the content seemed “locked” and only visible after refresh.
