    Hello,

I have downloaded WP VR – 360 Panorama, followed the video turorial and everything looks fine. I can compose a tour all right, but whenever I press “publish” (“Ver?ffentlichen” in German) all my work is lost.

Although the tour appears under “Wpvr/Tours”, and also has been assigned wiith [wpvr id=”1027″], I get nothing but

“Warning: Illegal string offset ‘showControls’ in /homepages/36/d73448957/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Bonaparthotel/wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/class-wpvr-public.php on line 144” plus a dozen other warnings,

once I try to embed it into my website.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you!

That’s right! Maybe “The WordPress Multilingual Plugin”, (wpml.org) is the problem?

Though this version of wpvr is not compatible with wpml or do not support multi language, you can follow below steps :

    1. Change your wordpress admin dashboard language to english.
    2. Create virtual tour.
    3. Save it.
    4. Now change back the language to your native one.
In case, if you don’t know how to change the wp dashboard language. Goto dashboard->users and click on your id. Scroll down to language. Select and save.

    Thank you!

I have figured it out. Actually, the problem had nothing to do with language. You have to mark “Make Item Multilingual” in WPML, even BEFORE ever saving it. That way, WPML will not try to translate the code but simply copies it in all the languages.

Thanks for the hint to look at multilingual plugins!

Great to hear that you were able to figure it out. Thank you for using the plugin.

I also have the same problem. I am using the Traditional Chinese language. I want to mark “Make Item Multilingual” in WPML. What should I do?

@ddtmap2472 – You will be able to do that using our upcoming release. Thanks
