Yes, Yoast informs me that they still have not looked at the issue with their plugin that affects Slide Anything. They say they will look at it and implement a fix in a future release (lets hope so!).

So for now you will have to disable Yoast SEO plugin in order to edit SA Sliders.

Ok, I have implemented a solution/workaround for this ‘Yoast SEO’ issue. If you update Slide Anything to the latest release (version 2.3.33), then this issue will be resolved.

Basically the Yoast SEO is clashing with the ‘Preview Slider’ feature within Slide Anything – so I detect whether Yoast SEO is installed on the site and if so then I disable the ‘Preview Slider’ feature.

Strange. Do you have the FREE version or the PREMIUM version of Yoast SEO?

i am using Yoast SEO Premium Version 15.9

Ok, well that makes sense then.
I’m searching for the Yoast FREE plugin path/filename and I’m then disabling the ‘Preview Feature’ if found.

I’ll add the Yoast Premium plugin next week.
(apparently this issue also occurs with a plugin called ‘Rank Math’, so I’ll probably add this plugin too)

Hi, I have now added the check for the Yoast Premium plugin.

I have not created a new release of Slide Anything – I added the change to the 2.3.33 version – so you will need to deactivate/delete the Slide Anything plugin then install it again.

Can you push new release new version so i can update and check.
Please sire help us my client don’t want to lost anything.

If you delete and install the Slide Anything plugin your existing sliders will not be lost.

Slide Anything saves all slider data to the WordPress database (‘wp_posts’ and ‘wp_postmeta’ tables), and slider data added to these tables are not deleted when the plugin is uninstalled.
