I can’t restore my wordpress site with updraft plus

    i am using updraftplus for almost 2 years. I backed up to Google drive, and it said successful backups. I thought, great I have backups in case anything bad happens.
    I tried to restore my site and i had a big problem. i can’t restore my wordpress site. i tried 4 or 5 different back up set but non of them is working. and Updraft made things even worse.
    plugins gone after the last backup restoration. Now i have no plugins on my wordpress site.
    i installed updraftplus again and activate it. In fact, there were 10 backup log files on the server but they do not work.
    i only see this :

    Retrieving (if necessary) and preparing backup files…

    Downloading backup files if needed
    Download plugins (Oct 12, 2020 19:29):
    plugins:
    Error: Download failed
    Google Drive: backup_2020-10-12-1929_Baby_Nest_Bed_d5fc0a3fddea-plugins.zip: Error: File not found

    Hi,

    Can you check if the backup you are trying to restore is still on your Google Drive? If yes, then download the backup and upload to “backup/restore” tab.

    thank you for your quick response.
    yes it is still on Google drive.
    i couldn’t download it to my computer. it didn’t work.
    when i click “download” button, nothing is happening.

    i couldn’t fix it for 3 days. please help!

    > Are you getting issues when downloading the files directly from your Google Drive account? If yes, can you send a screenshot please.

    Yes i can NOT download the files directly from my Google drive account to my computer.
    there is no any error code or there is no page coming.
    just nothing happening.
    i click “download” and nothing happened. i tried 100 times. but no result at all.
    i have another question.
    why i can not find the back up files from 13th August to 14th October?
    Everyday i had the email from Updraft and i ve been told that my site was backed up successfully.
    is there a way that i can reach to my back up files in 1st of October to 12th of October?

    Hi,

    Please can you re-authenticate your Google Drive settings again in the UpdrftPlus “Settings” tab. Hopefully that fixes the issue.

    Also, are you already using the latest version 1.16.30?

    is there a way that i can reach to my back up files in 1st of October to 12th of October?? please??

    We’ve just recently released a new version yesterday. Please update again.

    I’m afraid we do not have a copy of your backups.
