    Dear all,

I reanimated my blog some weeks ago and found out that I cannot pin rich pins on Pinterest anymore.

The error code is: “Unexpected token ‘u’, “upstream r”… is not valid JSON”

A Google research suggests that this might be a problem with strutured data and I think that Yoast SEO might be the problem.

Do you have any ideas/ advice?

Thank you very much and kind regards,

    Oliver

    Hello @oli_oli_oliver

Thanks for reaching out. Temporarily deactivate Yoast SEO. Are you able to use rich pins on your site?

    Dear Maybellyne,

I tried to deactivate all plugins incl. Yoast SEO in the last few days and unfortunately pinning didn’t work with deactivated plugins either.

Today I read, that rich pins request some Open Graph meta data. I had hoped that this might be the problem and that I might have to configure Yoast SEO differently.

    Kind regards,

    Oliver

If the issue happens when Yoast SEO is deactivated, our plugin isn’t the cause of the issue.

Anyway, I tested with /schweizer-roesti/ and I don’t see the Pin It button/icon on the images. Maybe I misconstrued what you’re trying to achieve. How are you pinning rich pins and got the error?
