I’m opening another topic since my previous one was marked as [resolved] when it was far from it.

Since version 4 was released this plugin turned useless and I stopped receiving newsletter subscriptions.

I don’t get this. I cannot choose which fields to use for the newsletter subscription (maybe I would like to collect only emails, or emails and names, but I cannot choose this anywhere), there is no code to place in a popup window or on homepage with the subscription fields next to each other NOT one under the other, so I used [newsletter] but I can’t edit the background and other elements of this form anywhere. For example, I would like to place ‘Name’ and ‘Email’ inside the fields, not before them, so it would take less space and get rid of the grey border.

All this was possible in the previous version of the plugin.

Can you please help me with this? Thanks!

From our previous conversation, I understand that the magic happens in:

List building >> Subscription >> Subscription page

But I don’t understand how to use {subscription_form} and if it can be edited.

On the other hand, if I am to use a form and table instead of {subscription_form}, what do I use for ‘action’ and ‘onsubmit’?

The configuration have not been changed. The subscription form fields you can find on top menu is where you configure the fields to use. If you want to create a custom form, other than coding it by hand you can use the new shortcodes. You can find the documentation on https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com to have more details.

    Stefano.
