    Since the last Plugin update, I can no longer login with any user on the site.
    All login attempts display the following error message:
    ERROR: Your login information is INVALID.
    Please would you have any indication of the procedures for solving the error and correcting the login?

    It looks like you are using special char in the username or password. Can you please use reset the password and set a simple character strong password?

    If you are facing the issue still, please follow the below steps:

    • Open your site’s file manager.
    • Navigate to the folder wp-content/plugins/
    • Rename the folder all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall to anything else. It will deactivate the AIOS plugin.
    • Then try to log in. Let me know what will happen on your end.

    I have reset the password for non special character, but the login still not worked.

    Then I followed your instructions to rename the plugin folder and now I am able to do the login.

    Could you please inform the procedure to delete all the old configuration to reinstall the plugin?

    What do you suggest me to do?

    You can delete all settings by following the below steps:

    • Open your site’s database in PHPMyAdmin.
    • RUn the SQL query DELETE FROM {wpdb_prefix}options WHERE option_name='aio_wp_security_configs'; Please replace the {wpdb_prefix} with you WordPress database prefix. By default, it is wp_. You can know your WP site’s database prefix as described on https://paulund.co.uk/get-database-table-prefix-in-wordpress

    Thank you Prashant!

    I could uninstall the module and also deleted some tables manually in the database.

    But I am not sure if I deleted all the old AIOWPS configurations.

    Now I running WP without the AIOWPS for a while.

    Do you recommend me to reinstall the Plugin AIOWPS?

    You can reinstall AIOWPS. After you have installed it, I would advise you not to enable any of the settings and try logging out and back in and see if it works without any of AIOWPS’s settings enabled. If it does, I would then advise logging out and back in after enabling some settings — if it stops working, let us know which settings were enabled and we can investigate even further for you.
