I can't log into my subdomain's dashboard

So I’m sure this isn’t the proper way of going about things but let me explain. I’m basically trying to make a bi-lingual multisite by copying the english site then adding the whole wordpress files and database info to a subdirectory.Thus letting my coworker rewrite the content in spanish (they didn’t want to use any translator plugins). So I’ve copied and transferred everything into a /espanol subdirectory and got it working EXCEPT! I can’t login to the dashboard to change the content for the subdirectory (versatilemedigroup.com/espanol/wp-admin), it just directs me to the main dashboard. I’ve tried adding the multi-site network within wordpress but that doesnt seem to let me access the spanish versions subdomain dashboard either. And, from this route, I’m not sure how to import the database info to keep my theme options the same.

Anyone have any ideas or know of a better way to go about setting this up.
