I can’t log into my own blog

  • I haven’t posted to my blog in months, and when I tried to log onto it last night, I found that my password doesn’t work. When I submitted a request for a new password corresponding to my screen name (which was recognized), no notice arrived at the email address I’m sure I used when registering. (And when I checked the only other ones I have, there was no message there either.) And when I selected the option allowing you to put in your email address I got a message that no such email address is registered.

    What can I do? I’m locked out of my blog and don’t know how to get back in!

  • I’m in the same state. Except that in my case, my username was refused. I spent a long while calling up new passwords, none of which worked. Then I noticed that it was my username that was being rejected. Just suppose for now that I’ve forgotten my user name and can’t recall it. How can I get back into my blog?

    Review Resetting Your Password. If you use the phpMyAdmin approach you can see user names.
