I can't load images and my post editor doesn't appear

  • Hi,
    I’m working with wordpress (version 3.1.1).
    When I’m going to load a picture it is showing that

    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id() in /home/mnsoftwa/public_html/wp-admin/includes/media.php on line …..”

    Moreover, my post editor has not the Visual. I’m working with only code(html).
    Please help me to fix these problems.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
