I can’t import .XML file into my wordpress site

    It’s difficult to pinpoint the exact problem.

    However, likely the problem may not with uploading the XML file. But, it’s with processing it.

    Bigger files take long time to process. And as you know, most servers have a timeout limit. They don’t let the process run long enough.

    You can check with your hosting provider. They may shed some light as to what might be the problem.

    @t-p no problem with my hosting provider
    I tried the same on my localhost, it doesn’t work
    what should I do?
