okay, i must be a moron, but when i’m writing a post in edit mode and i put spaces between paragraphs, they appear fine in the edit panel but when posted up to my site, the spaces are removed and i have a giant slab o’ text without any breaks.

anyone have any ideas here? i certainly wouldn’t want to try reading a solid wall of type!

    many thanks,

    david r.

Can’t say I’ve experienced that, and I roll my own HTML in the editor, but… have you tried using ‘p’ tags?

    Same problem.

I have no idea what a ‘p’ tag is.

    Ok, I got something, admin.

    It’s annoying as hell.

Go into the code part, and insert <p> at the begining of ev. graf and </p> at the end of every graf.

When you work in the Visual editor, a Return (Enter) gives a white line or a Shift/Return gives a new line without space.

If you don’t see the Visual tab above the edit box you can enable it in your user proefile.

some theme css doesn’t account for <p> tags properly.

I had to add some #content p bottom margins to my style.css to break up my content properly
