• I can’t get access to my word press any more.
I’m not sure if someone changed my wordpress account and deleted me or what but I can’t get access to my dashboard anymore.

I’ve tried logging into my website:
    https://fanstoyou.com/wp-login.php

but I can’t get access to my dashboard.

I’m sure my username and password are correct since I never changed them but it still won’t let me in. Can someone help me on this?

Also, I’m hosting it on godaddy.com

Did you try retrieving/resetting your password?

I have and it says my email doesn’t exist anymore on my site which can’t be true since I’ve gotten direct email messages to my email from the site plenty of times.

The “Lost password” page is not the standard WordPress page, it’s possible there is a plugin that controls user acounts, or that there is another login mechanism installed (apart from the usual WordPress login system).

Try retrieving your password here: https://fanstoyou.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

I’m still getting the same problem it’s saying: There is no user registered with that email address.

I have the same problem. Saw something about checking the wp_users table in another post, but I have no clue how to find the table. Any advice?

    @ellietrautman
    check on the file manager
locate your folder were the wordpress is
    open wp-config.php
    check the database name
    goto mysql or your database
find the databse name same as on the wp-config
    find the table USER
you can find it there… hehehe

Thank you, but I have to plead further ignorance. Should I see the WordPress folder on my computer or is it on www.remarpro.com?

As for me I’m not sure if this has anything to do with it but my site went down because I wasn’t able to renew my site at godaddy but now that it’s renewed and active I don’t have access to it for some reason.

In my case, I was updating a post and got called away for a few minutes (maybe more). When I returned, my session had time out and I was prompted to log back in. I tried with the auto-filled login and pw, and that silly box shook itself ‘no’ at me. I did try other pw’s, but no luck. I then clicked on the Reset Password option, which was successful, but then my login email no longer worked – not a registered user.

My issue has been resolved with the help of support at BlueHost. My password had gotten corrupted somehow and just needed to be updated in the appropriate db table. For BlueHost, access the database and db tables through PhpMyAdmin in the cPanel.

@malikerty – I would imagine godaddy has something equivalent.

Unfortunately I don’t seem to have access to any kind of cPanel for my site. I just have the site domain name fanstoyou.com registered under godaddy.com but I can’t seem to access my admin page because it says that my username and password don’t exist. Which is strange because I’d been using that username and password to get access to it before a few months ago.

Something else interesting though is that I bought the site from another user who created it in wordpress and they also had access to the site as well. I’m partially under the suspicion that they deleted my info from wordpress, which is why I was wondering if wordpress has anything like an administrator or support system that oversees access to a particular site so they could see if my account had been hacked and my username deleted or something?
