I can’t find “Slideshow” on my WP website’s plugin page. The search function is not working.

I clicked on the “Photos” tag, and paged through 17 pages of photo-related plugins that the tag brought up. But I couldn’t find “Slideshow”!

(The search function is also not working on WP’s main plugin directory. I can only find Slideshow in that directory by using a third-party search engine.)

This is ridiculous! Can’t something be done?

    Regards,
    Ron Cohen

  • Hi Ron, are you saying that you installed the plugin and you can’t find the Slideshow plugin anywhere in your Admin panel?

I NEVER installed Slideshow, because I couldn’t find it at Admin > Plugins > Add New.

I couldn’t find it because I didn’t know that a WP search is started by hitting the Enter/Return key. (I’m used to clicking on a small magnifier icon.)

This evening I finally found Slideshow and installed it.

Thanks for your kind help, and your follow-through.
