I can’t find anything positive to write

I’d like to write something balanced, but I honestly can’t think of anything I like about the new interface.

But, among the things I dislike most, these are two:

#1. I wish it didn’t insert any shortcodes into my posts during composition or editing. I end up removing them manually–which is a headache.

#2. I wish I didn’t have to click on multiple options to do things that I used to be able to access readily–permalinks, toggling to code edit view, and so on.

I’m sure there are folks for whom this was an improvement, but–after weeks of use–I’m not among them.
