    Hi ya,
I was hoping (expecting even) that when I displayed the cookie table using a shortcode, it would just display all the cookies my site is creating.

But it doesn’t seem to do that.

And the user guide has no explanation on how to find out your cookies, or indeed anything much about the List Cookies section.

Can we get some information about that?

    Thanks,
    Norman

  • Hi @normancates,

You have to manually add all the cookies under Cookie List > Add New.

To find out the cookies that your website is using, kindly refer to this article.

Hi, you can go on site https://www.cookiebot.com and ask for free verification of your site. They send you a mail with the entire list of your cookies.

Hmmm. But isn’t that likely to change fairly often? Especially with new plugins and development?

Isn’t there a programmatic way of just displaying those cookies?

@markwt i have a list of my cookies (I’ve used various tools to get this list) but what is the cookie id? Is it the same as the ‘value’ in the developer tools in Chrome? And what’s the minimum info I can add to my ‘Cookie list’ in the plugin for it to work properly.

And do I need to do anything in the settings to make the ‘Accept’ and ‘Reject’ buttons work? Or is it just sufficient if I properly add my cookies?

I’ve been going round in circles with this for a few days so I’d really appreciate any help!

    Thanks for the plugin!
    Best
