I can't do NOTHING in my website

  • I was using my web site as usual but, suddenly, I can’t do nothing: It doesn’t count the views, I can’t add a new post, nobody can add comments…

    Well, if you get in the website (https://www.itthings.net/) it seems that nothing happens, but the problem is that when you try to publish a comment you can’t, when you see a post the number of views doesn’t change, and when I try to add a new post or change/edit whatever… it happens the same: nothing. The strangest things is that it doesn’t appear an error message or similar… When you publish a comment, it says that everything is OK (but the comment is not published), and the same adding new posts, uploading images…

    I didn’t change the theme before, I didn’t touch anything… it just happened, I don’t know why. Could you help me?

    I would suggest that your turn off all your plug-ins, test and then slowly added them back.

    Plugins really tax the server. Also you might want to look into upgrading your hosting if you are getting a ton of traffic to ad more ram to handle the plugins.

    You can also check with this plugin https://developer.yahoo.com/yslow/ It will help you see why your site is running slow.

    You can also check out wesbitegrader.com as well it is helpful.

    Then once your get it running well look at plugin wp super cache because or any other caching plugins. I have a few videos on my website that will show you how to speed up your website.

    That would be my suggestions. Let me know if that helps.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?

    I’m sure that the problem is not related to plugins. The last plugin I installed was like 4 months ago. Anyway, my webpage is totally frozen, so I can’t edit anything, including activating/desactivating plugins. I’m sure I didn’t touch anything. Everything was OK but suddenly that happened.

    As I said, the problem is not related to plugins. Anyway, I deleted all those inactive plugins that I had. I made everything tou said but my web remains exactly the same… frozen.

    If you’ve already seen my webpage, when you try to read a single post the number of views doesn’t change, which is a good example to see how frozen is my web.

    Thank you again… it’s good to see that I’m not totally alone.
