    Hello,

    1. I disabled the plugin but I can’t disable it.
    2. If I didn’t remove the code added in .htaccess, I have an error 500.
    3. I am using W3 Total Cache.

How delete the plugin please ?
When I click on “delete”, nothing happens… An error message is shown and it mention that there is a critical error on the website.

If I remove the folder, have I to delete something else (tables, anothers folders/files, …etc) ?

    Thank you

  • @yass45 Are you able to remove the plugin files via FTP/SFTP?

Login to your server via FTP/SFTP like FileZills and browse through wp-content/plugins folder and remove wp-optimize folder via FTP.

    Only the folder ?

There is not another folder, files, code, … to remove ?

I want to clarify something :

If I want to delete this plugin, is because there is an error if I use W3 Total Cache.

I want to use WP-Optimize only for the database optimisation but how can I do ?

Currently, I have to delete the code added in .htaccess. If I don’t do that, there is an error (probably conflict with W3 Total Cache).

And you have to know that I deleted the code added in .htaccess, but there is always a message saying that Gzip compression is activated…

@yass45 You can remove the rules inside .htaccess file which starts with

    # BEGIN WP-Optimize Gzip compression

    and ends with

    # END WP-Optimize Browser Cache
