I Cant Customize Homepage in Pixwell Child Theme

The wp-embed-responsive class is an optional class that your WordPress theme’s developer would have enabled in order to facilitate content resizing in your site, while retaining it’s aspect ratio.

This is going to be unrelated to setting up a footer, however, and you can reach out to the theme developers for more guidance, or review their documentation. I found the theme that you’re using, Medley, and their documentation and support link for the theme is linked below.
