I can’t configure my sender email

    Hi there,
    Tks for your great work.
    I’m am using “other smtp method” with smtp.gmail.com
    In your plugin, I have checked “Force expedition email” with email [email protected]
    I’m using Forminator as contact plugin and everything in the plugin is configured with this email [email protected]

    But all the emails are always sent with the gmail adresse from the smtp method.

    I hope my question makes sense ?

  • Hi @manuarmand,

    Gmail SMTP does not allow you to change ‘From Email’ – that is the restriction by Gmail. The emails should always be sent from the same email address you’ve authenticated for reliable email delivery.

    If you’d like to send emails from your domain-specific email addresses, you might want to check mailers such as SMTP.com, Sendinblue, Mailgun, Sengrid, etc. These require you to authenticate your domain instead of authenticating a specific email account. We have documentation on each of our available mailers.
