I can't change the layout for specific pages other than the default one

In the customizer screen > Pages and posts layout section, can you verify if you checked the “force default layout everywhere” option ?

Sadly it did not work. I tried checking that even before posting my question.

Any further suggestions before giving up?

(Could it be that one the plugins is conflicting such a bug?)

Yes it could be but not for sure.

I just re tested this functionnality with the last version of the theme and had no issue with it.

Can you please do the following :
1) check you installed the very last version of Customizr : v2.1.2
2) Check the following screencast to see if you miss something when you change the layout of the page : https://www.screenr.com/rSNH
3) if it still not works then open the website on chrome, enable the web developer tool (click on F12), open the page edit screen in admin and check if there is some sort of red cross with an error message at the bottom right of the developer frame.

I’ve been having the same problem, BUT, I just got it to work once I clicked on the PREVIEW CHANGES button.

I never thought of doing that beforehand.

It is as if the change is not actually enabled, unless you preview it first.

If i preview the changes before saving, it will work very well.

Could you please debug why we have to click the preview button before saving? it sounds strange to me but it works!

• Wordfence Security
• WordPress SEO
• WP Super Cache

Here is a list of suggestions for improvements in your future versions:

1. Add few popular page templates (e.g. a blog page template) like how elegantthemes are doing (https://www.elegantthemes.com/features/page-templates.html). In my opinion, the most important page template is the (Blog Feed) Page template.
2. Add few popular shortcodes. You can copy some popular ones from elegantthemes (https://www.elegantthemes.com/features/shortcodes.html). Personally, i don’t use those since i rely on third party plugins but new comers like those a lot.

Apart from the above two future improvements, i believe there is a fruitful future for your company and themes.

Consider me one of your theme fans! It will be a pleasure to debug your future themes as well as much as i can.

About the suggestions
1) Next releases of Customizr will definitely include pages templates
2) About shortcodes : very interesting but not allowed in the WordPress themes from official repository, they are plugin territory only.

About the bug, I could not reproduce it. Would you mind to do the following test : desactivate all plugins and reactivate one by one to see if one create the bug? It might be some WP Super cache specific settings that you did?
