i can’t change date in copyright

    Dear, I used the plugin real time and replace to change the copyright of my website. However, I put the wrong year when I used it. Now I want to change it, I can’t. I have tried several times to modify without success. I do not know what else to do. Can you help me solve this? The impression I had is that the plugin memorized the first modification and now it is no longer allowed to change.

    You can change a rule anytime you want. What happens when you try to modify the rule?

    When I changed the rule, the changes did not appear on the website.

    My guess is a theme update or something has altered the code. You need to use your browser’s “view source” feature to confirm that what is in the Find box matches what’s in the source. I would start by removing the existing rule (since it isn’t working) so that you can be certain it isn’t interfering with any new rules.

    But I removed the previous rule. I took the source code from the page before changing it a second time. Complicated.

    What I find most curious is that, when I am logged into wordpress, the changes are showing up. When I leave wordpress, the changes disappear.

    Do you use a caching plugin? Some caching plugins behave differently if you’re logged in or not. However, eventually the cache will refresh and reflect what you see when you’re logged in.
