    Hello all,

    I’ve just made a clean install of wordpress 4.4.2 and Publication Theme Version: 1.0.3, and with the help of Custom CSS Manager Plugin, I add the following code :

    div#primary {
    max-width: 870px;
    width: 100%;
    }

    div#secondary {
    max-width: 300px;
    width: 100%;
    }

    Everything seems like I wanted but the Customization of the Theme.
    When I click on “Custom” on the Theme Publication, Choices are
    – Site Identity
    – Menu
    – Widgets
    – Static Front Page

    I know that Site Logo should appear in Site Identity but it doesn’t…
    What should I do?

    Thank you in advance for your help,

    Thatoo

    To use the Site Logo in Jetpack you’d need to activate the Jetpack plugin. No specific module is needed, as long as the plugin is active the Site Logo option should be present.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Thank you Kathryn.

    I’m not using jetpack. I didn’t even install it.
    I’m using Custom CSS Manager Plugin for the custom CSS code.

    I don’t want to use jetpack. Is it possible to have the logo option without it? It’s not mention anywhere that jetpack is mandatory…

    Thank you,

    I know that Site Logo should appear in Site Identity but it doesn’t…

    If you’d like to upload a logo via the Customizer, Jetpack will be needed.

    You should see this alert in your dashboard:

    Manage Themes Publication 1 0 3 by Automattic WordPress 1

    The requirement is also mentioned in the theme’s readme.txt.

    If you want to add a logo without Jetpack, you can try adding one using a background image via CSS.

    Thank you..
    My mistake, I didn’t read it. I guess we have a tendency to filter small lines because they are too many in our world…

    I’ll try with CSS because I’m not going to start becoming dependent on wordpress.com, we are already tied by so many companies, I’d prefer avoiding one more…

    Thank you so much for your answers, they were very fast, precise and useful.

    You’re very welcome.

    Just in case it helps, I wanted to mention that you don’t need to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com to use the Site Logo module. A connection is only required for modules that leverage the WordPress.com servers, like Photon or Related Posts.
