I can’t access my new subdomains

    Hello

    I just converted my WP site to a multisite and created 2 new subdomains

    since I run my main site through Cloudflare I added A records of both subsites.

    But I could never access the subsites

    It show me this error:

    404 Not FoundPlease forward this error screen to fr.eeeairship.com’s WebMaster.

    The server cannot find the requested page:

    • fr.eeeairship.com/cp_errordocument.shtml (port 443)

    Please I need your help

  • I added A records of both subsites.

    Don’t.

    Instead, use CNAME, pointed to the primary domain.

    A record could work… but you need to add additional configuration on the server to forward the subdomain to the primary site domain. With CNAME, no such additional config is needed.

    Thank you for your reply. I just created the subdomains to CPanel as well to create virtualhosts…. it worked after tweeking other things.

    I copied the DNS records from CPanel (after downloading a backup then using the dnszone file) and import it to CF DNS records… it has A and TXT records that were added.

    I eventually managed to activat the SSL certificat from the CPanel. but still getting this note on the new A records of the subdomains from CF DNS zone:

    “This hostname is not covered by a certificate”

    Any idea how to solve this?

    I am using CF as CDN
