• Hello, I have 3 wordpress sites and on one of them I am unable to access the dashboard (https://www.careerdesigner.net). I can login to my site and access other menu items but under dashboard their are no menu items (Home, Updates) and I get an error message when I click on it that says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” even though I am the admin.

I haven’t changed anything but a theme and deactivated two plugins. I have no idea what to check to fix the problem since I haven’t made any significant changes. Hopefully someone can help.

I have deleted the premium theme from my site and I’m using the default theme Twenty Thirteen. The website has gotten worst when I deleted the theme so it doesn’t seem TheStyle is the primary issue. Now not only can’t I access my dashboard I also can’t even update WordPress because it says I don’t have permission before I could still do updates. This is now a real problem and I can really use some help. I’m not a developer so when you say “You have your website set for IE7 – this is wrong.
<meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=7″ />” I don’t know where to go to fix this. I didn’t set my website to this.
    Can anyone offer any assistance?

I’ve been unable to access my WordPress.com dashboard since 12th March. Today, following advice in a WordPress support thread, I deleted my browsing history, removed all cookies and downloads (I’ve got Google Chrome). This seems to have done the trick, although I haven’t tried to post anything new yet.

I just saw 4 months ago! Oh well.
