I can't access my admin panel (http 500) error message

First I just updated to the wordpress 3.5.1 earlier today and it seemed fine. Then later on I was updating some info on my website and I got stuck somewhere so I shut down the internet connection without fully logging out now I can’t access my admin panel it keeps giving me this error message when I enter my user name and password. I think I was in the area where you update your title tags- I entered some info but decided not to make any changes and somehow now I can’t getback in my admin panel. I am not a person that understands a lot of website speak so please help me using the most desriptive simple terms possible. Thanks in advance.
