• Since I moved my blog to Wp.org, I cannot access anything in WP, except for my dashboard, which is controlled by Bluehost. I cannot follow a blog or even “like” an article, for everytime I try WP asks me to Log-in. When I try to log-in, it always tells me my user or password are wrogn, but when I request a new password via the “lost paswordd” process, WP never answers. It’s been weeks likes this, and it is very frustrating. Why does WP not send me an e-mail to reset my password?

According to several recommendations, I have changed my password in my dashboard, under “My Profile”, but still I cannot use that password…

Like and Follow are WordPress.COM functions. Your self-hosted WordPress installation uses it’s own account and is not connected to anything else anywhere.

You cannot use your self-hosted account to log into WordPress.COM or it’s features.

If you want some of that WordPress.COM functionality on your self-hosted installation then please consider installing and configuring Jetpack.

Thank you for answering Jan. I have Jetpack installed and activated and still cannot like any post…

Are you able to log into WordPress.COM with your WordPress.COM account?
