I cannot successfully add new blogs to my blogroll

Last four or five days when I try using the proper RSS code, it does not update with post title, only blog name and suddenly my blogroll reverts back to ABC order not in order of recent postings. I tried a few variastions in how to add the blogs and no matter what it does not work. Is there a recent glitch? Please help….thanks!
