I cannot save drafts

  • Hi, for the past few days I have not been able to save drafts. I click the button and it endlessly spins for days at a time. My site is EatTillYouBleed.com This is becoming a royal pain in the ass. I notice this happens at least once a year. How does a novice fix this?

  • Have you tried doing this things?

    Deactivating all plugins and re-activate it one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    Switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
    Identifying inactive plugins in your plugin folder, inactive plugin can still cause problem(s).

    Also flush your caching plugins that you are using as well as server/browser caches.

    If all else fails, then you need to manually upgrade your wordpress. Download a fresh copy of the latest.zip file to your computer, and use that to copy up. You may need to delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders on your server. Refer to Manual Update .
    Please keep in mind that you need to backup your wordpress files first.
