I cannot purchase NFTs – Polygon – Suika NFT MArketplace

    Hi there,

    Great work on the app/plug-in we have two NFT Marketplaces and many more features already (staking, ICO, NFT, NFT marketplace) and will continue to grow with you.

    However, none of the NFTs can be purchased. I followed the steps in this example – https://wpsmartcontracts.medium.com/create-a-professional-nft-market-94c19052b5bb

    But when I come to Approve Fund in step 1 of purchasing an NFT, the ‘Confirm’ button in Metamask does not become active for me to approve funds.

    All systems, browsers, extensions are all up-to-date.

    Is there an update needed from the plugin, is there an issue with Metamask? or is there an issue with Polygon Matic?

    I would be very grateful for your support, I have customers unable to make a sale at the moment.

    Do you see any error in the Metamask window?

    Any warning in yellow or red?

    Do you have sufficient funds in the account connected to your site?

    I think I see the error.

    You are using this as a payment token:
    0x7D1AfA7B718fb893dB30A3aBc0Cfc608AaCfeBB0

    This is not a valid ERC-20 token.

    I have now switched to this ERC-20 token:
    0x0000000000000000000000000000000000001010

    I do not see any warning yellow or red messages.

    I am just unable to make a purchase.

    I am seeing the same as you, the confirm button is grayed out even when I have enough funds in the wallet.

    I see the problem, the Matic “token” is not a standard token:

    If you see the functions available you will notice that “approve” is not one of them.

    So that’s why the marketplace is not working, Matic native token is not a standard ERC-20 token.

    My suggestion is to try with a different token, for example Wrapped MATIC:
    0x0d500b1d8e8ef31e21c99d1db9a6444d3adf1270

    But of course, if you decide to go with this token, you and your customers will need to swap Matic for WMatic.

    Or use any other standard ERC-20 Token.

    No apologies are necessary, but this is not the best user experience! Users will mint in Matic, they should have the ability to buy NFTs in Matic!!

    Are there going to any updates on this? My users will not know how to use Quickswap, this is far too complicated and should have been highlighted at the start.

    Sorry but no, Suika is built to work with erc-20 standard token, so you need to use wrapped versions of matic to be able to use Suika.

    If you want to use matic then you need to use the Matcha flavor, not Suika.
