I cannot logon to any of my wordpress site

    Hi All,

    Today, I am unable to access any of my wordpress site, it was all fine till this morning but, I am not sure what happens if access the site it gives my this error:

    Error establishing a database connection

    and If I try to login to panel, I receive this error:

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    Are you sure that the database server is running?

    If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    Could some one please advise, how can I fix these issues.

    Go to your blog url/wp-admin?
    Or you may ask your hosting provider if there’s any technical error over their end.

    Is it on a local server such as WAMP? If so try restarting all services. If it is hosted call your hosting company like RichardWPG said.

    I am having a similar problem. my site can be accessed anywhere but on my home computer yet i can access other sites. as soon as i enter my site in the addy bar the “forbidden” message comes up. i’ve been on the phone all afternoon with everyone imaginable and stiil can’t access my new site

    @chaos kitchen, is your browser auto-filling an address that is no longer valid? I have done this before where I made a lot of changes and the auto-fill address was off by a little? Seems simple but just a thought. If it works everywhere else, clear your cache on your home PC and try again, or type the url by hand and don’t let the browser complete it.

    Hey BrianWK — in the wee hours while i was up messing around with my computer i updated my adobe reader via a recommendation at the bottom of my computer. and lo & behold—-everything is now working ! yay ! not sure why this worked but i can access my site now. thanks for your help .
