I cannot login unless I deactivate the plugin

    Hi,

    I have a problem with My Theme Login. When I enter my username and pass it says “ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Lost your password?”. It says the same if I go to “/wp-login.php”.

    If I deactivate the plugin through FTP (rename the plugin folder) and go to “/wp-login.php” it works – I can login.

    I already deactivated all the other plugins, but this didn’t solve the issue – it still says I have the wrong password, but that’s not the case.

    Do you have any idea what could cause this? Please help..

    If you have TML enabled and have E-mail only” selected for the registration type, and then attempt to log in using a username, this would happen…

    Thanks so much! Indeed, this was the issue – initially it was checked “Username or E-mail”, but in fact I didn’t need an username for my users so I changed it to email only, just that I previously used an username to login to WordPress..plus I’m using LastPass that is filling automatically the login fields and didn’t notice that now the first input field is Email, not username.
