I cannot add media, featured image and missing media library

  • I recently upgraded my site from WordPress 4.7 to 4.7.1 and I can’t upload images. My media library is empty but on connecting to my server using FTP, I can see all the images present in my wp_uploads folder. I have deactivated all plugins and then reactivate it, cleared cache but none of these has worked for me.

  • Hello, look if you have a plugin for images on your site that might not yet support this new version. Try to uninstall this plugin to see and then to put another one.
    As a last resort, try disconnecting, clearing the cache and cookies.
