I can see image images in webp format even after completing all setps

    Hey there!!

    I have the same problem. My server configuration is also correct. I have run the module to convert png/jpeg in webp. I can also see webp formats in the folder /wp-content/uploads-webpc/uploads.

    But still my website is loading JPG/PNG formats of all images.

    Kindly provide solution for this.

    Everything on your website is working fine. Please kindly read the plugin FAQ carefully. Everything is exactly described there. Even there is a question “Why are some images not in WebP?”.

    this page https://www.scargill.net/cats-who-would-have-them-we-do/ and cleared browser cache after loading the webP convertor… I waited maybe 30 minutes before looking at the page – and followed your advice on hitting F12, selecting NETWORK then Img and looking at the TYPE column…

    Am I missing something? I’m just seeing my PNG and JPG files in the TYPE column..??

    I just looked – my images are in /wp-content/uploads and various folders underneath that – pretty much sorted by date.

    It seems your software has created a folder /wp-content/uploads-webpc/ and in that is an .htaccess file and a folder called uploads and inside that, there are only 2 automatically generated test images in there.

    Any ideas?

    @scargill Did you perform an operation to convert all images?

    Hi there Mateusz – no I assumed the instruction re: using a cron file would do it automatically – there are LOTS of images… did I miss something?

    Ah, I SEE, only files NEWLY uploaded. I just cut and re-pasted the image here…so it made a new image and that is WEBP – so how do I tell it to go through all the exxisting web pages (probably thousands of images) and convert those?
