I can only create pages or posts with plain permalinks

    Hi!

    I have a new install on Ubuntu 19.04. Everything is fine until I update the permalinks to something other than plain. I should point out that woocommerce asks for ANYTHING but plain links, so that is why I am doing this in the first place (and it looks better too).

    If I have plain links, I can create posts or pages, but if I update it to anything else, I get an error on saving like ‘Updating Failed’ in a red bar.

    FYI, I am self hosting on Digital Ocean.
