    Weirdest thing. When I left my house this morning I left my computer on and I was logged in to my admin account. When I returned home and back to my computer and I could no longer access my admin. My credentials work but as if I were a front end user.

    How can I get my admin credentials back?

    The URL is https://www.carhunters.us

    Try clearings your browser’s cache and cookies. If that doesn’t work, would you please tell us which browser (and version of) you’re using?

    OK, I cleared everything and still no luck.

    I’m using Chrome but the same problem is there in Firefox. Both are up to date. I’m not 100% on the WP version but the site is only about 3 months old if that helps.

    Use PHPMyAdmin to reset your account’s administrator status.

    In the USERMETA table change the META_VALUE field for “capabilities” to say
    a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}

    OK, I’m not the main admin. Sorry, I should have said that already.

    I don’t see a place to do in the USERS table. Am I looking in the right spot or do I not know what to look for? I have next to no idea what I’m doing in MyPHPAdmin.

    It’s USERMETA, not USERS (these two tables are used side-by-side). You’ll have to look for your admin account name in USERS and then find the ID, and use that in USERMETA (I don’t have time to check right now).

    It would be better to have the main admin fix your account, though. That can be done through WordPress and is the safer method.
