I have removed all theme issues by switching to Bootstrap Basic4. I’ve very confident this is a “me” issue but I’m at the point where I’m stumped. I don’t know where to look in the settings for a fix.

The prefix bars are not working. I seem to switch back and forth between having the index not work and having the prefix bars not work. The url looks right (https://www.surveyorslexicon.com/encyclopedia/prefix:a/) but I get a page not found error. Items in the index are working properly.

I have reset the plugin to factory settings and it changes nothing. I have swapped out the theme and it changes nothing. I have played with lexicon settings for way too long and it doesn’t fix this latest thing I’ve managed to break.

I’ve got to set this project aside for a bit. I’m hoping when I come back to it you’ve said something brilliant and I again have something to work with.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

After re-saving the permalinks everything seems to work fine. ??

How are you resaving the permalinks? And why do they keep breaking? Is it something I’m doing? Something the theme is doing? Something the plugin is doing?

Yup, been there, done that. You must have magic fingers. What are you setting it to? The last selection in the list?

You do not need to change it. Just hit “save”.
