I apologize – sidebar menu below content
-
I apologize for posting this; I know it’s common problem, but I can’t seem to find a solution that either works or I understand enough to make it work. So here we go:
1) My website problem page: https://www.loseweightjustjuicing.com/index.php?option=com_jd-wp&Itemid=35
Note, there are no images and the comments are “right out of the box.” This problem appeared on initial installation.
2) I’m using Joomla and the WordPress component, JD-WP (aka OpenWP). I know this shouldn’t be the first place I go for help, and in fact it wasn’t. But after pouring through these forums for hours, there’s no question the WordPress community knows a lot about issues that are one-degree of separation from WordPress proper. I truly hope you can help me as support seems to sometimes be a long-time coming on the OpenWP forums.
Note: By design OpenWP is driven off the the Joomla CSS templates rather than the themes in WordPress. Which is to day, the stylesheets in the WordPress Admin module seem to have little effect. So when I try solutions based on changing code in the style.css file they seem to have no impact on my page.
Of course, the reasonable thing would be to say is go find the corresponding code in the Joomla css templates. However, I can’t seem to find something that corresponds to what is being changed in the style.css file (I don’t know a lot about this stuff, though I’ve been programming in VB for 20 years – vertical application stuff.)
3) My website problem page on validation: https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.loseweightjustjuicing.com%2Findex.php%3Foption%3Dcom_jd-wp%26Itemid%3D35&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&ss=1
Clearly there are problems here. But I just have no idea where to go fix these things.
Can anyone please help me?
Thanking you in advance,
Ray
