I am unable to update to the latest version

    Good Day

    Today I tried to update to the latest version of Yoast which gave me an error message, unfortunately I didn’t keep a copy of this.. Anyway I removed the plugin and tried to install it afresh. Again in would not load. Here is the error message I got:

    Installation failed: Could not copy file. /home/glenpak/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-admin-asset-location.php

    How do I fix this

    Hi,

    This issue typically occurs when the plugin installer cannot copy the necessary plugin files during the installation due to the wrong file/folder permission setup on the server. Therefore, please manually install the plugin by following the steps are given in this guide: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/#ftp.

    If you are not sure how to do that, your host provider can help.
