I am trying to remove comments!

    Hi guys my first post here!! I installed wordpress on my site (www.villaincrete.gr) I removed the comments from Options> Discussion but when I go to a post I see Comments are closed?! I deleted the wp_comments… but nothing! What I am doing wrong? Any help will be apprecited!
