  • Hi @mohsinfk786

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the order status in WooCommerce when using the Stripe API key. Specifically, the order status is being marked as Completed instead of being put On hold whenever a new order is placed.

By default, the order status is set to Pending Payment until Stripe charge is completed, it will be changed to Processing afterwards.

In your site wherein the order status is already marked as Completed, this is not the expected behavior. Can you please provide us with a screenshot of the Order Notes similar above for one of these orders so that we could check this further?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Meanwhile, please ensure that you have the latest version of both WooCommerce and the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin installed on your website. This will ensure that you have access to the most recent features and bug fixes.

Should you wish to hold orders on your site, you can check Stripe’s Authorization and Capture function.

    Hope this helps!
