I am still getting the google tag manager error

    Hello,

    I am trying to get rid of the “leverage browser caching” error in Gmetrix. It is still showing the typical message of the google tag manager JS at 15 minutes. I want to get rid of it also to improve my SEO score with rankmath.

    How do I do this? I have setup the plugin, which I thought would fix it, but hasnt..

    CAOS does not automatically remove any other plugins or snippets you might’ve added. So, you should remove whatever tracking code and/or plugin that’s adding the requests to Google Tag Manager.

    I haven’t got any google analytics related plugins installed.

    How do I remove a tracking code, and where from?

    Sorry for not getting back to you, btw.

    I forgot to mention: if you use gtag.js, only the gtag.js file is served from a local source. It’ll still make a bunch of requests to external servers. Sorry, that’s just how Google Tag Manager works. ??
