Will the email subscription box be placed into a sidebar like a widget? If so, you can use the Widget Visibility module in Jetpack to configure the widget to only display on https://thegeslockgroup.com/blog/

Thanks for the quick reply! I saw https://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/

The visibility widget is not “visible” under appearances>widgets

    It is active under Jetpack.

    Hi MGeslock,

Do you still have this issue? Did you see how to use Widget Visibility?

I still have the issue (I didn’t get the happy email that said I was done).
I did not see how to use the Widget Visibility…

    Thanks!

For the email subscription, try going to https://subscribe.wordpress.com and enter your email address there, to confirm your subscription.

As for the Widget Visibility module, do you not see the “Visibility” button on each individual widget on your Appearance -> Widgets page?

    Richard,
I now do see the visibility section. I am not sure how to use this.

I had subscribers from my old blog that I want to transfer to my new self hosted blog.

    https://mgeslock.wordpress.com/ to>> https://thegeslockgroup.com/

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/

“If you are getting ready to go to a self-hosted WordPress site and would like to bring your subscribers with you, we can also help you with that but you’ll need to do a bit of preparation first”

    I have completed those steps.

“4.Once your Jetpack is connected and ready to go, and you’ve informed your readers about your upcoming move, contact us and we’ll move your subscribers for you.”

The contact us link leads me right back to https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

This is the infinate loop that I am in.
I have read in other post that an admin will pick up on the support help question (this post) and they will move them over for you.

Please forgive me if I am missing something. I am want to be a good WP community member.

You said you saw https://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/ ; what part are you unsure about? What are you trying to accomplish that I can help you with?

For moving your subscribers, I’d be glad to do it for you, but to make sure that you are the owner of that site, we do ask that you contact us via the contact form you mentioned, or alternatively, you can do so through the Jetpack contact form:

    https://jetpack.me/contact-support/

For either form, to help confirm your identity, make sure you are logged in to the WordPress.com account that owns https://mgeslock.wordpress.com/ and then we’ll take care of it for you. You can include a link to this thread in the message you send, as well. Thanks!

    With my head hung low…..
I did not read the title of the thread… I had 2 support issues out there.

I did solve my subscribe button issue.

However, you did resolve my other issue with my subscribers ??

    Thank you…Thank you….Thank you…

    I used the https://jetpack.me/contact-support/ link
